² I will praise the Lord ^(A)while I live;
I will ^(B)sing praises to my God while I have my being.
^3 (C)Do not trust in princes,
In ^[a]mortal ^(D)man, in whom there is ^(E)no salvation.
⁴ His ^(F)spirit departs, he ^(G)returns to ^[b]the earth;
In that very day his ^(H)thoughts perish.
